Using your targetted keyword in your website plays a big role in search engine optimization. Eventhough internal linking or keyword in an anchortext is the good way to tell search engine what the link of a page is all about, overusing it may only lessen your chance to improve your rank because search engine will think that you obviously trying to manipulate your rank using that method.
